Spiti Valley is a stunning, high-altitude desert mountain valley in the Indian state of Himachal Pradesh. It’s known for its rugged terrain, remote monasteries, and breathtaking landscapes. A tour to Spiti Valley is an adventure filled with cultural experiences, spiritual exploration, and natural beauty.
Day 0: Overnight Journey to Shimla from Delhi.
Assemble 30 minutes before the scheduled departure time at Boarding Point on Saturday Night in Delhi.
Boarding Point in Delhi are Kashmeri Gate or Majnu Ka Tilla .
Overnight Volvo (Semi Sleeper) Journey to Shimla
Day 1: Shimla – Sangla – Raksham – Chitkul
Arrive in Shimla next morning and our Winter Spiti expedition adventure will begin.
Board on Force Traveller / Private Innova booked as per your booking and start journey to Chitkul.
Chitkul which is the last village on Indian side on the Indo–Tibetan border .
Reach Chitkul by evening. Dinner and Overnight Sleep.
Day 2: Chitkul – Khab Sangam – Nako – Tabo
After Breakfast we will explore Chitkul spend some time near river side of Baspa River and Akhri Dhaba and depart to Tabo.
This will be the most scenic drive of your life.Explore Khab Sangam (Meeting point of Satluj and Spiti Rivers) .
Explore Nako Lake and enter Spiti Valley from Sumdo BorderTonight, you will get your first experience in a local Spitian homestay.
Reach Tabo by evening.Dinner and Overnight Sleep
Day 3: Tabo – Dhankar – Frozen Lingti Waterfall -Pin Valley Post – Kaza
After breakfast visit Tabo Monastery which is close to 1000 years old now .
After Spending some time in Tabo Monastery heads towards Kaza.
En route visit Dhankar Monastery , Frozen Lingti Waterfall and Pin Valley Post if the road is open.
Dhankar used to be the Seat of the King in ancient times- the most beautiful setting for a monument, which hangs on a cliff and overlooks the confluence of the Spiti and Pin rivers .
Pin valley is the least explored valley in Spiti region of Himachal Pradesh .
Reach Kaza (Headquarter of Spiti), by evening. Dinner and Overnight Sleep.
Day 4 : Kaza – Langza – Hikkim – Komic
First, we will be visiting Hikkim , and send postcards from the World’s Highest Post Office .
Next, we will visit the World’s Highest Village connected via motor-able road i.e Komik .
Adorable views of the Chau Chau Kang Nelda Park and The Buddha Statue is waiting for you at Langza which is also known as Fossil Village of India .
Come back to Kaza by evening. Dinner and sleep overnight.
Day 5:- Kaza – Kee – Kibber – Chicham
Visit the world-famous Ki Monastery, situated at a height of 13,668 feet. With over 1000 years’ worth stories to tell, Ki Monastery was founded by the discipline of the famous Atisha in the 11th century CE .
Kibber, a town that is an extremely continuous objective for snow panthers to visit .
Chicham Bridge – The Bridge is at a staggering height of 13596 ft. look down and you will find yourself gaping below at a 100 ft deep gorge .
Come back to Kaza by evening. Dinner and sleep overnight.
Day 6:- Kaza– Gue – Kalpa
Wake up Early morning and after breakfast, start the return, Journey.
Pay a visit to over 500- years- old Tibetan mummy with its teeth intact located in the village of Gue
Reach Kalpa by Night, Dinner and sleep overnight.
Day 7:- Kalpa –Shimla -Delhi Departure
Wake up Early morning and Enjoy a nice, warm breakfast with a astonishing view of Kinner Kailash Peak .
Post breakfast we will have some photographs clicked and some insta reels before and ending your Winter expedition returning to delhi you will drive back to Shimla.
Overnight journey to Delhi. You will be Back in Delhi by 11 AM on Sunday.
